Meredith Allred

Meredith Allred is an experienced Human Resources professional with over 25 years’ experience to include strategic planning, associate relations, payroll processing, benefits, recruiting, retention, and growth/development.

Meredith has been with Emerald Transformer for over 9 years and currently serves as the Director of Human Resources which supports all 9 locations and 300 employees.

Prior to Emerald Transformer, she served as the Human Resource Manager at Professional Products, Inc. in Defuniak Springs. In this role, which she held for 10 years, she provided personnel support for over 150 employees.

Upon graduation from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in History, Meredith began her human resources career as a Personnel Officer in the United States Army where she served over six years in Ansbach, Germany; Fort Jackson, South Carolina and New Orleans, Louisiana. She received an Honorable Discharge after achieving the rank of Captain.

Meredith actively volunteers in her community with prior roles in the United Way, the Florida Chautauqua and the Walton High School BPA.
