Halima Begum currently serves as an Assistant Professor/Senior Lecturer at the School of Economics, Finance and Banking, Universiti Utara Malaysia, where responsibilities include teaching, researching, supervising students, and leading projects since September 2020. Halima has extensive experience in finance education, supervising PhD and MSc students, and publishing in top-tier journals. Additional roles include Review Editor at Frontiers in Environmental Science, Board Member of the Islamic Sustainable Finance & Investment Forum-RED MONEY EVENTS, and a researcher at Azerbaijan State University of Economics. Halima is also involved with various editorial boards, including the International Journal of Climate Change & Strategies and Frontiers in Sustainability. Halima holds a PhD in Environmental Management from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and an MBA in Finance and Banking from International Islamic University Chittagong.
