Kate Benson

Kate Benson is an experienced professional with a diverse background in event operations, donor relations, and education. Currently serving as the Event Operations Manager at Emerald since July 2022, Kate has previously held key positions at Covenant House Georgia, where responsibilities included managing a donor portfolio and implementing special projects. Past experience includes a Graduate Student Research Assistant role at Georgia Institute of Technology focused on educational impact, and various positions in education, including a Middle School Science Teacher and operations roles within Teach For America. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia College & State University, a Teaching Certificate from Southern Methodist University, and a Master of Science in Public Policy from Georgia Institute of Technology.
