Monish Sharma

Monish Sharma was named Emerald’s Chief Technology Officer in January 2023 where he leads technology, data and development teams. He previously served as Senior Vice President, E-commerce SaaS, for Emerald’s Elastic Suite business, a leading enterprise level B2B ecommerce platform used by numerous world class manufacturing brands across multiple industries.

A seasoned technology professional with more than 20 years of career experience, Monish came to Emerald from Publicis Groupe where he most recently was Vice President of Technology & Data. In this role, he led global teams to transform and develop innovative SaaS applications, AI-powered data platforms, and strategies to balance revenue enhancements and privacy needs for consumer-focused software used by Fortune 10 companies. He has also held senior technology positions at Epsilon and Google’s DoubleClick division where he helped develop a variety of strategic SaaS applications and data platforms.

Monish holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering from University of Bombay, and a Master of Engineering Management from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He also holds a doctorate degree in Decision Support Systems with Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning specialization from Dakota State University Graduate School, Madison, South Dakota.
