Jon Shepard

Jon Shepard is the current Chief Operating Officer at Emergent, a position they have held since May 2019. Prior to their current role, Jon served as the Director of The Global Development Incubator from December 2008 to February 2019. In this role, Jon was responsible for building startups and partnerships to address global development challenges. From July 2005 to December 2018, Jon Shepard served as the Director of Enterprise Growth Services at EY. In this role, Jon was responsible for helping clients grow their businesses. Prior to their role at EY, Jon was a consultant at Accenture from March 1998 to July 2005.

Jon Shepard attended the University of Southampton where they studied philosophy and politics. Jon then went on to attend the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst. After graduation, they joined the British Army and served for a number of years. Jon then left the Army and returned to civilian life.
