Founded in 2009, Emerging Media was formed with the idea of introducing a novel concept in indoor and outdoor communication by revolutionizing digital advertising in Sri Lanka. With the massive success from the introduction of Bus TV for traveller entertainment, Emerging Media launched TV Salon. This unique digital signage platform enabled brands to tap into vibrant lifestyle markets for the first time in Sri Lanka. LED advertising followed, which provided brands with an opportunity to leverage an effective outdoor display advertising system. Currently, Emerging Media is the market leader in digital signage solutions and location based advertising, with indoor and outdoor screens placed in 200+ prime locations, mainly in Colombo, including eight large LED screens. Over the past ten years, Emerging Media has built up portfolio subsidiaries, namely: Emerging Events, MyJobs.lk, CookingTV.lk and partnered with companies such as PayHere, Express Jobs and MyDeal.lk.
