Athanasios Perissakis

Athanasios Perissakis is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Head of Development Department at Emerson since October 2025, overseeing approximately 50 engineers in the R&D department in Augsburg, Germany. Previously, Athanasios held the position of Head of Electronic Hardware Development at Mynaric from April 2021 to September 2025, managing four teams with a focus on electronic design and radiation assurance. Prior to Mynaric, Athanasios worked at Dialog Semiconductor from February 2012 to March 2021 in various roles, including Hardware Group Manager and Team Lead, directing multiple teams involved in silicon qualification engineering and PCB layout. Athanasios began a career at Intracom Holdings from January 2006 to January 2012, progressing from Senior Engineer to Project Manager, specializing in military radio systems, and earlier worked as a Design Engineer at Intracom Telecom. Athanasios holds a Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications from the National Technical University of Athens.
