Dan Libotean

Dan Libotean has extensive experience in the field of chemical engineering, particularly in proposal management and project leadership within systems and software. At Emerson, from February 2023 to April 2025, Dan served as Proposal Team Leader and Manager of Project Proposals. Prior roles at Emerson Automation Solutions included Proposal Engineer and Senior Proposal Engineer. Dan began an academic career as an Investigator at Fundación Universidad Rovira i Virgili, focusing on bio-diesel technology, and held engineering positions at Griño Ecologic S.L. and Griño Ecologic SA, where responsibilities included overseeing catalytic depolymerization plants and developing operational procedures. Dan also led a research and development department at AZOMURES, focusing on fertilizer product development. Dan holds a Licenciado in Chemical Engineering, an Advanced Studies Diploma, and a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Universitat Rovira i Virgili.
