David Morel

David Morel is an experienced Principal Control Systems Designer with a career spanning over three decades in various engineering roles. Currently at Emerson Process Management since January 2010, David has led control system conversions and medium-scale retrofits across multiple locations, including Alliant Energy and Valero Refinery, and has played a key role in Front End Engineering Design (FEED) studies for control system upgrades. Prior to Emerson, David held positions at The Automation Group, Spectrum Engineering, CDI Engineering, Info Link, Ford, Bacon & Davis, ICON, Power Logic, and Bertrand, Barnard & Burke, where responsibilities ranged from senior design roles to account management and outside sales. David's education includes participation in the Summer Drafting Institute at Louisiana State University and completion of high school at Robert E. Lee High School.
