Douglas Hamilton is the Associate General Counsel at Emerson Automation Solutions, where they focus on guiding the company through innovative technology, licensing, and acquisitions. With a background in engineering and law, they manage a variety of legal issues, including global patent prosecution and litigation. Douglas served as a Captain in the United States Air Force from 2001 to 2005 and began their journey in law as a Law Clerk at Emerson in 2008.
