Fred Melkey

Fred Melkey is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources and compliance. Currently serving as the Director of EEO & HR Compliance at Emerson since February 2016, Fred has previously held significant roles including Affirmative Action Manager at The Hartford and Director of Affirmative Action at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from December 2013 to February 2016. Fred's career in human resources began at Intel Corporation, where the initial role as Engineering Manager transitioned into Hr. Fred holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, an MBA in Finance from the University of New Mexico, and a JD in Intellectual Property and Employment/Labor Law from The University of Connecticut School of Law.
