Ismail Vanak

Ismail Vanak is a seasoned AI and data professional with a robust background in advanced AI methodologies, machine learning (ML), and natural language processing (NLP). Currently serving as a Senior AI Engineer at Emerson since September 2025, Ismail previously held the position of Data Scientist at MSCI Inc., focusing on innovation and scalability through AI, ML, and MLOps, including contributions to chatbot development using retrieval-augmented generation. Earlier experience at Icertis involved training advanced models for clause classification and leading MLOps projects on Azure, while past roles at Tata Consultancy Services included developing data ingestion scripts and ML pipelines. Ismail holds a Master of Computer Applications from Gujarat Technological University and a Bachelor of Science from Christ College Rajkot.
