Jeff Chivers is the Director of Engineering at Emerson Automated Solutions, where they lead a team in the development of pressure measurement sensors for the nuclear and subsea markets. Since joining Emerson in 2012, Jeff has been a member of the leadership team, establishing vision and strategy, while also serving as a certified leadership development coach. Prior to this, Jeff spent 20 years in the US Navy, fulfilling various roles in nuclear submarine operations and culminating their military career as Commanding Officer of Naval Security Forces in Iceland. Their engineering expertise spans multiple roles at Emerson, including Manufacturing Engineering Manager and Design Engineering Manager, focusing on innovative safety-related technology for the nuclear industry. Jeff holds a B.S. in General Engineering with a Nuclear Engineering Curriculum from Idaho State University and is currently pursuing further education at the University of St. Thomas.
