John Miller

John Miller is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in electrical and process control engineering. Currently serving as Principal Engineer for Cellular Connectivity at Emerson since February 2023, John previously held the position of Senior Electrical Engineer at Nortek, focusing on instrumentation and controls for water and energy-efficient cooling systems. During tenure at Valero Energy Corporation, John led various automation projects and contributed to cybersecurity improvements within process control networks. John also has a long history at Emerson Automation Solutions, where significant achievements included advancements in pressure transmitter technology and contributions to industry standards. John possesses a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, holding 31 patents and actively mentoring junior engineers throughout career.
