Mark Emery

Principal Mechanical Engineer

Mark Emery is a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Emerson since April 2023, focusing on supporting new product development and global manufacturing for Rosemount Magnetic and Vortex Flowmeters. Emery has served as Vice Chair of the Twin Cities chapter of the Veterans Resource Group since February 2025 and holds the EP Site Lead position in 2024. As an advisor and mentor in the University of Minnesota’s Department of Mechanical Engineering, Emery also contributes to the Emerson technical mentor/mentee program. Previous experience includes a Senior Mechanical Engineer role at Graco from May 2014 to November 2021, where Emery was a key player in new product development and achieved significant cost savings, earning the CEO Award in 2016 and 2019. Other roles include Lead Fuel Applications Engineer and Mechanical Applications Engineer at Donaldson, as well as a research assistant at the University of Minnesota. Emery's career began in the US Navy, serving as a Machinist's Mate 2nd Class in a nuclear submarine following completion of the Naval Nuclear Power Program. Emery holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
