Massimo Torri

Massimo Torri is the Director of Technical Development at Emerson Automation Solutions, where they have been since 2019. With 20 years of experience managing cross-functional teams of software developers and quality assurance analysts, Massimo is a certified Scrum Master with a strong background in traditional project management. Prior to their current role, they held positions such as Program Manager at Saflink Corp. and Project Manager at Alberta Pensions Administration, where they managed a $2 million project to rebuild core systems. Massimo also served as Director of Platform Development at Zedi Inc., overseeing a team of 20 professionals. They earned a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Physics from the Università degli Studi di Milano and the Università degli Studi di Trieste, respectively.
