Michael Tang

Michael Tang is an experienced legal executive currently serving as Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Secretary at Emerson since January 2024. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at Agilent Technologies from June 2006 to December 2023, including Senior Vice President and General Counsel, where responsibilities encompassed leading domestic and international M&A transactions, advising senior management on strategic opportunities, and managing corporate governance matters. Michael's legal career began at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati and Fenwick & West LLP, where expertise was built in corporate and securities law, including managing complex transactions and providing legal counsel to technology companies. Michael earned a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.S. in Finance from The Wharton School.
