Chris Nicol is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in developing collaborative solutions, particularly in the field of educational technology. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has worked as both an electrical engineer and firmware engineer, focusing on hardware and firmware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and accessories. Prior to this, Chris contributed as an electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation and served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, aiding in electronic circuits instruction. Chris began a career in electronics as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, designing control systems for forestry equipment. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
