Robin Dutton began their career in the oil and gas industry in 1970 as a wireline operator and completion specialist with Halliburton. They graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and progressed to roles including downhole design engineer and technical sales manager at Baker-Hughes. Robin joined Micro Motion in 1991 as an international regional manager, where they contributed significantly to the development of Coriolis metering technology and established standards through API. Currently, Robin serves as the Senior Oil & Gas Applications Manager at Emerson Automation Solutions in Boulder, Colorado, where they assist customers and develop training programs for sales engineers and technicians. In addition, Robin holds nineteen US patents and has published multiple papers on petroleum measurement and production automation.
