Aura Team Lead at Emesent

Adrian Cook has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. Adrian currently works at Emesent as the Aura Team Lead, where they specialize in developing a Point Cloud processor/viewer/editor using Unreal Engine. Their role involves animation, colorization, and data interpretation, as well as building 3D UI interactions and insights with the data.

Prior to their current role, Adrian was the Owner of Wildfire Studios, where they were involved in all aspects of development, management, and strategy. Their main focus was game-play implementation.

Adrian also worked at nVire as the Technical Director, responsible for developing a suite of technology for Architectural Visualization using Virtual Reality. Adrian used Unity as the base engine to develop a pipeline, tools, and libraries for VR presentations of real and proposed architecture.

Additionally, Adrian conducted research and development on Bitcoin and associated technologies at Crypto Mining Collective. Adrian built a business model based on a collective structure for members to invest in mining equipment and administered racks of mining equipment for multiple cryptocurrencies.

As a contractor for Hoodlum via Double Dash, Adrian contributed to the architecture and development of the SoapStars Game for iOS.

Other roles in Adrian's work history include contractor positions at Narva Marine Navigation, where they worked on a marine navigation social network, and Scrunch, where they focused on digital cloth and garment simulations and technical design.

Lastly, Adrian served as the Technical Director at Club Casual, a platform website for delivering casual games. Their responsibilities included digital rights management, content delivery networks, automated content management, and e-commerce.

Adrian Cook attended the Epsom School of Art and Design from 1993 to 1994, where they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Animation with a focus on Technical Animation. Prior to that, they attended the University of Brighton from 1984 to 1985. During this time, they studied Production Engineering, although no degree name was provided.
