Andrew Harrison is an experienced professional in the aerospace and robotics fields, currently serving as the Hardware Engineering Lead and Robotic Platforms Lead at Emesent since April 2020. Prior to this role, Andrew founded and directed Astra Drone Solutions from November 2017 to June 2021 and worked as an Aerospace Engineer at QinetiQ Australia, focusing on ADF aircraft usage monitoring and structural analysis from December 2015 to November 2017. Andrew also led the RMIT UAS Research Team and served as a UAS Consultant for CSIRO, contributing to innovative mapping solutions in mining environments. Additional experience includes research and development of UAS technologies for Fosterville Gold Mine and an engineering internship at QinetiQ Australia. Andrew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from RMIT University, earned from 2012 to 2015.
