Gavin Catt

Gavin Catt has extensive work experience in the field of SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping). From July 2014 to January 2023, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at CSIRO's Data61 Robotics and Autonomous Systems Group. In this role, they served as the principal software engineer for Wildcat, which is considered one of the world's best SLAM solutions. Gavin then joined Emesent in January 2023 as a Senior SLAM Engineer.

Gavin Catt completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology & Multimedia from Griffith University. Gavin attended the university from 2010 to 2014.
