James Nolen is currently the Principal of Construction Services at EMH&T Inc., a position held since 2023, following a long tenure as the Director of Construction Services at the same company since 2002. Prior to this, James served in various roles at the United States Army Corps of Engineers from 1985 to 2002, including seven years as an active-duty Army officer and ten years as a civilian civil engineer. James graduated with a BS in Civil Engineering/Engineering Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1985.
