Douglas Mumphrey

Douglas Mumphrey is an experienced author and draftsman with a diverse professional background. Since July 2012, Douglas has been an independent author, currently writing a science fiction series centered on a young naval officer, with the first two books available on Amazon. In addition to authorship, Douglas has been employed at Engine Monitor Inc. since February 2012 as a draftsman, creating schematic and system diagrams for a marine services company. Prior roles include serving as a Sr. Production Advisor at Creative Graphics Inc. for over a decade, where responsibilities encompassed customer service, laser engraving, programming, and waterjet operation, as well as a position as a Hospital Food Service Specialist with the Louisiana Army National Guard from 1994 to 2001. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of New Orleans, completed in 2000, and graduated from Brother Martin High School in 1994.
