Matt Holt

Matt Holt is a seasoned leader in the private equity sector, currently serving as Managing Director and President at New Mountain Capital since August 2001, where Matt partners with management teams to foster growth in companies. Holt holds several prominent positions including Chairman of Smarter Technologies and Machinify, where Matt has overseen their formations through strategic mergers and acquisitions. As Chairman of Datavant, Holt facilitated significant acquisitions that led to the creation of CIOX Health and later the Datavant Group. Holt has also played pivotal roles at companies such as Office Ally and Signify Health, where successful investment strategies and mergers were implemented. An alumnus of Harvard University, Holt graduated with an A.B. in English and American Literature and Language in 1999.
