David Swarbrick

David Swarbrick is an accomplished Airline Manager and operational Airline Captain, currently serving as the Standards Training Manager at Emirates. With extensive leadership experience in both full-service and low-cost airline sectors, they have been responsible for regulatory crew competence for thousands of pilots across multiple aircraft fleets. Swarbrick has also held significant roles at Ryanair, including Deputy Head of Training, and is actively involved in industry regulation with positions at ICAO, GCAA, EASA, and IATA. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Managerial Employee Relations from The University of Auckland.
