James Knutton

James Knutton is an experienced aviation professional with a diverse background in technical services and piloting. Starting as an apprentice at British Gas, James qualified as a Technical Field Engineer, gaining expertise in household gas appliances and maintaining a high safety record. Transitioning to BOXT, James served as Head of Department for Subscriptions and Servicing, where responsibilities included organizing subscription contracts, onboarding engineers, and managing operations. Following this, James held roles in aviation, including First Officer at BAA Training, Senior First Officer at Wizz Air, and currently as First Officer with Emirates, flying the Airbus A380 globally. James holds an MSc in Air Transport Operations and Management with distinction from the University of West London and has a solid academic foundation with GCSEs from Castle Hall School and Language College.
