Luke Rattray is an experienced aviator with a diverse background in commercial aviation. Beginning a career as an Airline Captain at Bateleur Air Charters from February 2011 to March 2012, Rattray transitioned to Federal Airlines Pty Ltd, where responsibilities as an Airline Captain included operating B200 and C208B aircraft until May 2015. Rattray then advanced through various roles at Cathay Pacific Airways from May 2021 to June 2024, serving as a Senior Relief Command Qualified First Officer and Senior First Officer, in addition to previous positions as a Second Officer and First Officer on the B777. Currently, Rattray is a First Officer with Emirates, operating on the B777 fleet. Rattray's foundational education was completed at Maritzburg College, culminating in a Matric certificate in 2009.
