Simon Berkeljon

Simon Berkeljon is a Line Training Captain on the Airbus A320 with over 17 years of international airline experience, accumulating more than 10,000 flight hours. Simon's aviation career began with ab initio training at CTC Aviation, leading to a successful 15-year tenure at easyJet, where they advanced from First Officer to Captain. Simon has also held leadership roles with Fastjet Tanzania and Global Airways, gaining command experience in diverse environments across Africa and the Middle East. Currently, Simon serves at SmartLynx Airlines, focusing on pilot training and development, while remaining dedicated to fostering safety and excellence in airline operations.
