Matt Silva

Matt Silva has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Most recently, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Emit Imaging starting in 2023. Prior to that, they served as Chief Executive Officer at Invicro, A Konica Minolta Company from 2019 to 2023. Additionally, they held the role of Executive Vice President, Scientific Applications at Invicro from 2018 to 2019. Before that, they were the Senior Director, Head of Imaging and Exploratory Pathology at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from 2017 to 2018. Matt also worked as a Senior Director at Takeda Pharmaceuticals in 2016. From 2012 to 2016, they served as a Senior Vice President at inviCRO, LLC. Matt had previous experience as Imaging Director of Research at Amgen from 2010 to 2012 and as Associate Director and Head of Imaging Sciences at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from 2006 to 2010. Matt began their career as an Engineer at Chiron Diagnostics in 1996.

Matt Silva has a strong educational background in the field of Biomedical Engineering. Matt pursued their Bachelor of Science degree at Boston University from 1992 to 1996. After completing their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they obtained a Master of Engineering degree from 1997 to 1999. Matt Silva further enhanced their expertise by pursuing a Ph.D. at the same institute, specializing in Biomedical Engineering, which they completed from 1997 to 2002.
