Ben Drew

Ben Drew is a seasoned professional in water policy and planning, currently serving as an Associate at EMM Consulting Pty Limited since May 2022. Previously, extensive experience was gained at the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation from February 2010 to January 2022, holding several prominent roles including Director of Water and Ecosystem Planning and Branch Manager of Water Allocation Planning. Additional roles at the Department of Environment & Conservation included Regional Leader for Industry Regulation and Project Manager for the Pilbara Living Country Biodiversity Project. Earlier in their career, Ben Drew worked as a Mine Geologist at BHP. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Natural Resource Management from The University of Western Australia and a Certificate in Sustainable Capitalism and ESG from the University of California, Berkeley, along with degrees in Geology.
