Ben Phillips

Ben Phillips is a Senior Environmental Scientist at EMM Consulting Pty Limited, a position held since August 2019. Prior to this, Ben served as an Assessment Officer at the Australian Government Department of Environment and Energy from February 2016 to August 2019 and held the role of Assistant Director at the Commonwealth Department of the Environment from June 2012 to February 2016. Ben's unique role involved close collaboration with the Queensland Government to assist in large-scale environmental impact assessments under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Protection Act. Educational qualifications include a Diploma of Project Management from the University of New England and two degrees from Flinders University: a Bachelor of Environmental Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biology.
