Brian W.

Brian W. has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Brian started their career as an Operator/Mentor at Metro One Telecommunications in 2002. Brian then worked at Compusa as a Salesperson from 2004 to 2006.

In 2006, Brian joined Patton Electronics as a Systems Administrator and held this position until 2012. During their time there, they were responsible for managing the company's systems.

After leaving Patton Electronics, Brian became a Network Administrator at Altarum in 2012. Their responsibilities included maintaining and extending VMware clusters, managing the company's Secure Network, configuring and managing various services, and providing helpdesk support to employees. Brian also played a lead role on the Change Control Board. Brian worked at Altarum until 2017.

From 2017 to 2018, Brian worked as a Systems Administrator at Merchant Link, where they maintained and managed production HPe blade systems and upgraded the virtualized development infrastructure.

Since 2018, Brian has been working at Emmes. Brian joined as a Network Engineer, where they managed and maintained the VDI infrastructure, researched and redesigned VDI to improve system performance, and maintained and upgraded the virtualized server infrastructure. Brian was later promoted to the role of Information Technology Infrastructure Operations Manager and then Associate Director of Global IT Operations in 2023.

Brian W. completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Maryland from 2003 to 2005. Before that, they pursued Business Administration at De Anza College from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Brian W. obtained a certification in VCA-Data Center Virtualization from VMware in December 2014.
