Brian Ziegler

Brian Ziegler has a diverse and extensive work experience. Brian is currently employed at Emmes as a Principal Software Engineer since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at CloudCheckr where they held the positions of Software Architect from February 2021 to April 2023, and Principal Software Engineer from June 2019 to February 2021. Brian also co-founded HypeEquity, where they served as the Principal Application Architect & Co-founder from February 2021 to June 2022. Before that, Brian worked at General Code® as a Software Development Manager from October 2018 to June 2019, and as a Lead Software Engineer from January 2018 to October 2018. Prior to their time at General Code®, they served as a Lead Software Engineer / Tech Coach at Thomson Reuters from October 2011 to December 2017. Earlier in their career, Brian worked at City Power Marketing as a Principal Solution Architect from February 2009 to October 2011, and at Xerox in various roles including Senior Architect/Engineer; Software Systems from June 2006 to February 2009, Senior Analyst/Developer from August 2001 to June 2006, and Software Developer from April 2000 to August 2001.

Brian Ziegler has a Master of Science degree in Software Development and Management from Rochester Institute of Technology, which they earned from 2005 to 2008. Brian also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the same institution, obtained from 1995 to 2002. Additionally, Brian holds certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an AWS Certified Developer - Associate and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.
