Peter Dawson

SVP, Biostatistics at Emmes

Peter Dawson serves as the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Statistics at Emmes, where responsibilities encompass oversight of statistical, data management, and project management staff across various therapeutic areas, including transplant, allergy, and autoimmune projects. With a track record spanning over a decade at Emmes, Peter has held multiple leadership roles, including Vice President of Biostatistics and Director of Biostatistics. Prior experience includes a Ph.D. candidacy at the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine, where Peter engaged in melanoma biomarker analyses and served as a teaching assistant. Earlier roles also include teaching mathematics at St. James School and collaborative research at Washington and Lee University. Peter holds a Ph.D. and Master’s degree in Biostatistics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Washington and Lee University.
