Edward Barthell is the current CEO at EmOpti. Prior to this, they were the Vice President Clinical Solutions and Medical Director Americas at Caradigm from June 2012 to March 2015. Before that, they were the Director Connected Health and Health Solutions Group at Microsoft from March 2009 to May 2012.
Barthell has also served as the President and CEO of the National Institute for Medical Informatics from June 2004 to February 2009. In addition, they were the Founder and Chief Medical Officer at EMSystem from January 2004 to August 2007.
Edward Barthell graduated with a B.S. in Molecular Biology from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Edward went on to earn their MS in Medical Informatics from Milwaukee School of Engineering. Edward then attended University of Wisconsin-Madison for medical school, earning their MD in medicine.
