Jim Bailey

Jim Bailey has a diverse work experience in various finance and executive roles. Jim is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at NuRAN Wireless, a telecommunications company that specializes in providing wireless network coverage in remote and rural areas. Prior to this, Jim served as the Director and CFO at Emoquo Limited and as a Financial Consultant at Questus Consulting Ltd, where they provided corporate finance advice to SMEs in the telecoms, media, and technology sectors.

Jim also has experience as a Principal at The FD Centre Limited, where they worked from 2016 to 2021. In addition, they served as the CFO of Zafin Labs, a banking software and fintech firm, where they were responsible for global budgeting, consolidated group reporting, and coordinating a global audit. Jim also supported negotiations with private equity and development banks for equity and debt funding.

Earlier in their career, Jim held the position of CFO at Orascom Telecom WiMAX Limited, a joint venture with Intel Capital focused on developing WiMAX opportunities globally. Jim also worked as the CEO/CFO at Telecel International, where they led the restructuring and turnaround of the company's sub-Saharan GSM operations.

Jim Bailey attended Bishop Carroll High School from 1977 to 1980. Jim then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Marketing & Finance from the University of Calgary, graduating in 1984. In 1992, they furthered their education at the London Business School, obtaining an MBA with a specialization in Corporate Finance in 1994.
