Emotions Matter is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2015 to connect and empower people impacted by borderline personality disorder (BPD). We provide peer-led online support groups, stigma-free educational resources, and advocacy to improve access to care and advance the BPD community.

Our programs are built by and for people with lived experience. From free peer support groups that have reached participants in over 44 countries, to professional education initiatives and an annual BPD walk, everything we do is grounded in the belief that people with BPD can and do recover.

We are led by a passionate volunteer board, committees, and staff who have all been personally impacted by BPD.
