Patrick Wäger is the Head of the Technology & Society Laboratory at Empa, a role they have held since 2016. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Scientist at Empa from 1993 to 2016 and worked as a Project Manager at Elektrowatt Engineering Ltd. from 1991 to 1993. Patrick holds a Dr. sc. nat. ETH in Environmental Sciences from ETH Zürich, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Sociology from Universität Zürich, and a Master of Science in Chemistry from Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich.
