Shay Shafranek

Shay Shafranek has a wealth of experience in product management, user experience, and design. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Stage Lighting Designer for Freelence, touring with some of Israel's leading musicians. In 2007, they worked as an Industrial Designer for I2D Innovation To Design. In 2008, they co-founded Gogma, where they were Head of Product & Design, and in 2009 they co-founded WAYbetter, where they were Chief Product & Marketing. From 2013 to 2019, they worked for Fiverr, where they held roles such as Senior Product Manager, Product Team Lead, and Sr Director, Head of Product. In 2019, they worked as a Product Management & User Experience Consultant for their own company, Shay Shafranek. In 2020, they joined Empathy as VP Product & Design.

Shay Shafranek attended Bezalel Academy of Art and Design from 2004 to 2008, where they studied Industrial and Product Design. They then attended Universität der Künste Berlin to continue their studies in Industrial and Product Design.
