Yonatan Bergman

Yonatan Bergman is the Co-Founder and CTO of Empathy. Yonatan was previously a VP of Engineering at WeWork, part of the global Tech leadership team, and for a time General Manager for the technology site in Tel Aviv.

Bergman began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at The Gifts Project. Yonatan then became an Engineering Manager at Israel Defense Forces, followed by another Engineering Manager position at eBay Inc. In February 2015, they became Mobile Engineering Manager at PayPal before taking on their role at WeWork in April 2016.

At WeWork, Bergman was responsible for leading engineering groups in Tel Aviv, as well as managing teams in Singapore and New York. Yonatan drove product and engineering strategy around tools that helped WeWork scale operationally and provide an unrelenting customer experience to members.

In May 2020, Bergman left WeWork to co-found Empathy.

Their manager is Ron Gura, Co-Founder & CEO.
