Sam Cust

Sam Cust has a diverse work experience in various industries. Sam is currently the Director at Hyper, a global startup studio that assists founders in launching their startups. Sam has been with Hyper since March 2020.

Previously, Sam was an Investor & Advisor as well as Head of Sales & Founding Team Member at LOKE - Mobile Delivery, Ordering & Loyalty from January 2012 to January 2016. LOKE is the largest provider of mobile payments and loyalty across Australia, Asia, and the UK.

Sam also served as a Board Member & Non-Exec Director at Empiraa.com from August 2020 onwards. Sam is an Investor & Advisor at OneAnother and HapplyAu starting from March 2022 and November 2022 respectively.

Additionally, Sam has been an Advisory Board Member at Create My Time since July 2020. Sam is also a Board Member (Innovation & Tech) at Bondi & Districts Chamber of Commerce from October 2021 onwards.

In the sports field, Sam has been involved with the Sydney Swans AFL team. Sam worked as an AFL Reserves Assistant Coach from November 2021 and later became the First Nations Academy Coach from October 2022.

Furthermore, Sam played for the Box Hill Hawks Football Club from November 2010 to October 2015 and was part of the Leadership Group. Sam was also an Investor and Advisor at Aston Club, which was acquired by LOKE in 2017, from October 2012 to July 2013.

Sam Cust has a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from Deakin University. Prior to attending university, Sam attended Camberwell Grammar School. In 2023, Sam also obtained a Foundation Senior Coach Certificate from the AFL.
