Brian Cajes has a diverse work experience in software development and data architecture. Brian started their career at FactSet, where they worked as a Software Engineer and led a team of engineers in integrating machine learning applications for real-time financial news. After that, they joined Questlr Labs, Inc as a Software Developer/Consultant, followed by a role as a Senior Software Developer at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. At Mount Sinai, they designed and developed data infrastructure and applications for genomics-focused clinical decision support platforms. Later, Brian became the Lead Data Architect at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Currently, they are the Head of Data and Engineering and Co-Founder at Empirico Inc, a venture-backed therapeutics company focused on target discovery and development using large biological datasets and genetics.

Brian Cajes attended the New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering, where they studied Computer Science. Brian has additional certifications in various topics, including "Probabilistic Graphical Models 1: Representation" from Stanford University on Coursera, "Deep Learning" from Udacity, and "Machine Learning" from Stanford University on Coursera.
