Cia Shetty is a data scientist currently working at Emplay Inc. since January 2024, where Cia has developed a generalized hybrid retrieval service that integrates Elasticsearch, Azure AI Search, and Cosmos DB, while also optimizing LLM ingestion services for improved scalability and reliability. Prior experience includes serving as a data science intern, where Cia created a multi-agent workflow using GPT-4 Turbo for conversational RAG-based content generation and implemented prompt engineering techniques. As a development team lead at 5X5 Gaming from February 2023 to July 2023, Cia led a team of approximately 10 interns in developing a Slack-like application while contributing to LivOps and digital marketing efforts. Cia also undertook a quality assurance internship at Brane Enterprises Pvt Ltd, gaining experience in API testing with Postman. Cia is pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, where studies commenced in 2020 and are expected to conclude in 2024.
