Marie Wright

Marie Wright is currently the Youth Apprenticeship Manager at EmployIndy. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Ivy Tech Community College from May 2011 to April 2022, where they were responsible for instructing various business courses via hybrid, face to face, and online instruction. Marie has also worked as a Graduation Coach at Indianapolis Public Schools from October 2009 to May 2011, and as a Probation Officer at Marion Superior Court from July 2000 to December 2005. Throughout their varied career, Marie has consistently received high marks from students and colleagues alike for their ability to establish rapport, create an inclusive environment, and show true concern for their students’ and clients’ success.

Marie Wright has a Master's in Business Administration from IWU National & Global and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government/Business from the University of Indianapolis. Marie also has certifications from LinkedIn in Skilled Trades: Interviews, Diversity Recruiting, Strategic Thinking, and Talent Sourcing. Additionally, they have a certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
