Empower People is a grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the rights, dignity, and wellbeing of women, children, and marginalized communities affected by trafficking, forced marriage, migration, and social exclusion.

For over 20 years, we have worked across North and East India to strengthen community protection systems, provide trauma-informed psychosocial support, enable access to legal identity and entitlements, and support long-term social and economic reintegration.
Our work is grounded in deep community engagement and partnership with local stakeholders, frontline workers, and survivors. We believe lasting change happens when communities are equipped with knowledge, resources, and collective power to protect their own.
