Ron Fields

Ron Fields is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in leadership and strategic development across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Publisher Partnerships at EmpowerLocal since July 2023, Ron previously held several key positions at Eagle Communications from December 2013 to April 2023, including Corporate News and Information Director, where a cohesive news strategy was established across nine online sites generating over 120 million pageviews annually. In previous roles, Ron led efforts to stabilize and grow divisions, manage significant P&Ls, and enhance digital revenue streams. Prior experience includes serving as Managing Editor at Tha Hays Daily News, managing comprehensive production efforts, and serving as Business Editor at The Hawk Eye Media Company. Ron is an alumnus of MacMurray College.
