Chris Nicol is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in developing collaborative solutions for educational technology. Currently at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the design of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and various educational devices. Prior experience includes a role as a firmware engineer at SMART Technologies, where firmware and diagnostic tools for educational devices were developed, and as an electronics contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on educational device design and repair. Additionally, Chris served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary and worked as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, specializing in control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
