Tim Gudgel

Tim Gudgel serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Empty since May 2024, focusing on assembling a top-tier team for museum, exhibition, and architectural projects. Previously, Tim Gudgel held the position of Senior Director of Global Retail Development at Lucid Motors from December 2018 to July 2022, where retail expansion initiatives were led. Tim Gudgel contributed as an Advisory Board Member at Roost House during the same timeframe. Prior roles include Vice President and General Manager at Samsung Electronics America, overseeing North American development efforts from December 2013 to May 2016, and Director of Design at Apple from March 2008 to November 2013, managing retail store design and development in the US and Europe. Tim Gudgel also served as Director of Architecture at Novartis, overseeing a significant corporate office expansion project, and worked as an Architect at Gehry Partners from January 2001 to February 2007. Tim Gudgel holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Washington State University.
