Weirong Sie

Weirong Sie has gained significant experience in the technology industry, working in various roles at different companies. From September 2016, they worked at EMQ Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the development of a cross-border settlement network. They played an integral role in growing the service and scaling up systems.

Prior to this, from February to August 2016, Weirong Sie worked at Emotibot as a Machine Learning Engineer. They analyzed human emotion from chat-bot conversations and developed a Chinese artificial intelligent assistant system using machine learning.

Earlier in their career, starting in September 2013, Weirong Sie was a Software Engineer at TSMC. In this role, they led a team of 6 people and collaborated on developing an innovative automation system in a fab. They also acted as a team leader and contributed to the codebase of the project, integrating user requirements into the system's logic flow.

Weirong Sie holds a Master's degree in Information Engineering, which was attained from National Tsing Hua University. This degree was pursued between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, Weirong Sie obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Engineering from the same institution. The Bachelor's degree was earned from 2007 to 2011.
